Harvest Gleaners strives to provide healthy food to underserved communities at no charge in the DMV along with pantry items to senior living communities. Our team is committed to fighting food insecurity and bringing compassion, nourishment, and dignity to the communities we serve.Â
We have such a wonderful network of volunteer organizations that are aligned with our goal of resolving food insecurity by recovering and providing access to nutritious food and being good stewards of God’s resources. Â

How We Help
By purchasing and collecting donations from stores, we deliver these items directly to those who need them most through our volunteer network, entirely free of charge.
The recovered flowers and plants bring a smile to the faces of those in assisted living and nursing homes, and create a fun activity. Flowers and plants are sure to warm the heart, especially for those who are struggling in any way.
